Martin Adams
I’ve been a youth football coach for 7 years starting at Illogan JFC. Now at Redruth Utd and in my second season with CYFS, looking forward to many more years. The satisfaction we get as coaches when drills/moves we’ve worked on the training pitch come to fruition during a match is second to none. To guide them in work rate, determination, passion and respect for others both on and off the field.

Luke Hitchens
As a veteran of this fantastic tour, I feel honoured to be invited back as a coach for the U13s Bears. After creating memories for a lifetime, I hope to facilitate the same experiences for young Cornish football players. With a background in sport science, my coaching philosophy centres on fostering a fun, supportive, and successful environment through evidence-based knowledge and practices.

I’ve played football since I was 5 and it’s always been my passion. Playing youth football for Helston, Goonhavern and Truro City.
I played South Western League football at 16 for Porthleven before going to Falmouth Town, St Blazey, Truro City, Helston. I also made my Cornwall adult debut at 21.
Once the old knees failed me I started a youth U7s team who I have taken through all the ages and we are currently at u15s. I have coached this youth team for 9 years and we have had much success.
My son was selected to go to Germany at u13s 2 years ago where I went over to watch with my dad. It was then I realised what a fantastic opportunity KYS gives to all these girls and boys, the togetherness, competitiveness, experience but most of all the enjoyment it gave to all of them was something I will never forget. The experience of a lifetime and this year I have been honoured to be asked to manage The Bears and I can’t wait to be part of this fantastic setup.

Hello guys, my name is Adam, one of the managers in the Under 13s team. I’ve been involved with the trip as both a player and a coach in previous years and I am excited to step into the management role this year. I look forward to welcoming you all on tour and enjoying some wonderful experiences and memories with you all.

Glenn Rowe
A Rosudgeon and Penzance boy at heart, because of Les I was first selected to participate as part of the under 13’s squad in 1999. With it leaving such an impression, I went on to do my FA coaching LV1 and then Sports science degree at Gloucestershire. I then completed my Physiotherapy Hons Degree in Bristol.
In 2017 I was given a great honour of returning to the fold with Les and staff in a supportive role. It’s shown me how much this organisation has grown since I was a lad. In the spirit of the man who made this all happen, it’s a privilege to be associated once again and I can not wait to join this awesome group! I can not wait to support and help the team and amazing talent joining us

Adam Martin
I’ve been a youth coach at Hayle FC for the past 6 years as well as the youth chairman. This season I became the welfare and respect officer for the CYFL and I’m delighted to have joined this successful Kernow Youth Select team. It’s an exciting opportunity and one I am relishing. I can’t wait to start training with the under 13’s squad before embarking on the tour to Germany 🇩🇪

Darryl Hunter
Having two football mad boys it was an easy decision for me to get involved in local youth football. I spent 12 years with Wendron Youth, 10 of those as a manager and coach. I then moved to Hayle Youth for three years helping to coach a certain youth team managed by our chairman Chris Philcox. I naturally moved into the senior game and have spend time at Porthleven, Mullion and Helston coaching and managing at South Western and Combination level. I am lucky enough to have been on this journey on two previous occasions as both my boys were selected for CYFS squads at U13’s. That seems like an age ago now but I’m am really excited and privileged to be involved once more.

Sue Morse
football started in 2000 before then girls were not allowed to play mixed football
In 2010 I joined Penzance youth on the coaching and admin side and we have followed Tyler and his football Millfield and Aces.
In 2014 I became secretary of Penzance youth
Now I coach and manage with my partner Penzance u7 u9 and U11 and u18. We spend three nights a week training and the weekend is with Penzance Reserves and attending and managing as many Penzance youth games as possible.
I think we watch 4/ 5 games a weekend and if I’m not standing by a football pitch supporting both my boys I’m usually at home watching football and the mighty Spurs.

Leanne Harvey
I played my youth football in the Midlands before moving to Cornwall in 1999. In Cornwall I played most of my womens football at Penzance in the women’s South Western Premier League
I have coached boys and girls football for the last 25 years in schools, clubs and the Cornwall Girls Centre of Excellence
I’m looking forward to managing the the 1st all girls squad to go on tour. This is a fantastic opportunity for the girls to show off their talent.
